myBuddy APP Privacy Policy
General information
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you use the myBuddy APP. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified. You can find detailed information on the subject of data protection in our data protection declaration listed below this text.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This can, for example, be data that you enter when registering, using the contact form or creating a user profile and using this to register for events on our APP.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the APP by our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you use the APP.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the APP and our service. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.
storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period is specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. This usually occurs when the account on the myBuddy APP is deleted.
If you make a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place once these reasons no longer apply.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request that this data be corrected or deleted. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted under certain circumstances.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority. You can contact us at any time about this and other questions relating to data protection.
Note on the responsible body
The responsible body for data processing on this website is:
Weihua Wang
Julius-Hatry-Strasse 1

Germany
Phone: +49-1573-0871882
E-mail: app@my-buddy.org
The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).
contact form
If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your
Consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
AWS (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg)
When you use our APP, AWS records various log files including your IP addresses. For details, see the AWS privacy policy: https://aws.amazon.com/de/privacy/
The use of AWS is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation of our APP. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's end device (e.g. for device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.
SSL or TLS encryption
The myBuddy app uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the website operator.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
cookies
Our APP uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you use our app (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions cannot work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or to display advertising.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified.
As an APP operator, we have a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of our services. If consent to store cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 Para. 1 TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately in this data protection declaration and, if necessary, ask for your consent.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze APP usage. The data obtained is used to optimize our APP.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the data on website usage on our behalf and contractually undertakes to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed.
If you have agreed to the use of Google Analytics, the following data will be transmitted to Google during your APP use:
- Screens accessed
- The achievement of “APP goals” (e.g. contact requests and newsletter registrations)
- Your behavior on the APP pages (e.g. time spent, clicks)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- your internet address (IP address)
- Technical information such as browser, internet provider, device and screen resolution
- A randomly generated user ID
This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in the APP for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that will be used to recognize you when you use the APP in the future.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles.
This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.
If you do not agree to the collection, you can deactivate the use of Google Analytics in the app settings.
No personal data such as name, address or contact details are transferred to Google Analytics.

We use push notifications to give you a smooth matching experience.
For this purpose we use the Google Firebase service. Google Firebase is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, whose parent company is based in the USA. It is a development platform that provides various services for web applications and apps.
We use the following Google Firebase service for push notifications: Google Cloud Messaging.
If you have agreed to receive push notifications, your IP address will be sent to servers of Google and Apple. More information on their data protection settings can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms as well as https://www.apple.com/de/legal/privacy/de-ww/.
If you use the myBuddy APP on an Android device, you will only receive push notifications via the "Firebase Cloud Messaging" push service integrated into Android. If you use the APP on an iOS device, the data will be forwarded to the servers of Apple, also based in the USA, which will send you push notifications via the "Apple Push Notifications" service.

The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example through spam emails.
